Issue Eight

Our festive photo was gift-wrapped, and you obliged with one of the funniest selection of captions ever gathered on this hallowed page - even though there was no T-shirt on offer for the best entry due to the special “Y’know” competition. There were plenty that made us laugh. Thanks to those of you who took the time and trouble to take part. Here are the best of the entries:

(1) Lee Peacock turns up for training still in his fancy dress costume from the BCFC Xmas party.

(2) Liam Rosenior models his new mail order robin costume that will improve his physical presence on the ball.

(3) In a bid to avoid being recognised City top-scorer Scott Murray hopes that a robin costume will distract opposition defenders attention.

(4) As passers-by taunt the robin with chants of "You fat bastard" Peter Beadle and Mickey Bell laugh nervously.
