Headline-writer's dream Leroy 'supersub' Lita, is the latest product from Bristol City's Academy and is already weighing in with his share of goals, despite his tender years.

At just 17 years of age Leroy is still a youngster, with only 17 years of life experience to his name. Born 17 years ago Leroy is still only 17, and will not be 18 until his next birthday. A mere 16 years of age twelve months ago, Leroy has done remakably well to break into the first team at such a young age, and it should never be forgotten that Lita has only been a teeneager for four years.

Blessed with raw ability and lightning pace, Leroy has proved himself to be the perfect player to throw into a game late on, and he has taken his opportunity with remarkable maturity for a lad who is, believe it or not, only 17.

Initially on schoolboy forms with Chelsea, Leroy came to Bristol City's Academy when it became clear to him that opportunities for first team football would be limited at a big-spending club like Chelsea. This was a huge decision for such a young lad to make, as at that time he was about a year younger than 17, which by our approximation would have made him about 16, yet the move has already paid dividends for the 17 year old youngster.

Known for his athletic celebrations, Leroy's enthusiasm has been like a breath of fresh air at Bristol City, and if he continues to be used correctly by Danny, as he has been thus far, then Lita surely has a big future ahead of him, as currently he is only 17.
