Reader Offer: The Invisible Man - The Simon Clist Story

The Incider is proud to exclusively offer our readers the chance to own on video and DVD the latest smash hit from BCFC Films: The Invisible Man - The Simon Clist Story.

Simon Clist was a footballer, about to face a promising career as an attacking midfielder for Bristol City. With an ability to get forward and score goals, it was imperative that he was stopped in his tracks.

In order to ensure he was never seen on the football pitch again, evil Dr Wilson and his sidekick Barlow implanted a gland in his brain, attached to his cerebral cortex. When Simon increases his heart rate, or gets his adrenaline pumping, the gland sends quicksilver through his veins and it is secreted out of his body through his pores, covering his body entirely. The quicksilver bends light around Simon and render him invisible and thus unavailable for selection, if picked.

The catch comes however, when Simon has had too much quicksilver running through his veins. In this event he reaches quicksilver madness and nothing but the antidote can stop his insanity. The telltale symptoms of this madness include thinking you have done enough in games to deserve selection, and believing you will surely get a chance in an LDV game when many players are being rested.

The counteragent to quicksilver madness is held in the vaults of The Department Of Overlooked Footballers which is overseen by Professor Lansdown, and in return for administering Simon with the cure to his insanity, the DOF insist that he sits uncomplainingly on the transfer list, a forgotten man.

Unsurprisingly several other football clubs come to look at Simon with a view to a transfer, but are unimpressed with what they don't see, and thus it is that Simon must spend his days in the shadows of evil Dr Wilson's empire.

Watch as Simon comes on against Northampton, provides an attacking thrust and scores a well-taken goal, only to disappear from view as the excitement of his achievements send his adrenaline pumping and thus rendering him invisible again almost immediately afterwards.

A 'must not see' film for any true Bristol City fans, this biopic includes previously unseen footage. Get it now before it disappears off the shelves.
