Dear Incider,
Time and again. Tommy has proved to everyone that he is one of
the best players in the team.
Yet I still know people who question him and say he isn’t
as good as Scott Murray or Brian Tinnion. How can people judge these
kind of players together, especially as one is a defensive midfielder,
the other a playmaker and the third a winger? I would just like
to say that if Tommy had a little more pace to him then I reckon
he could be playing in the Premiership.
I also feel that if City don’t go up this season then I reckon
we might loose him to a team like Cardiff or Wigan because they
lack that ball winner in there team.

Dear Incider,
Re: Incider-Balls. My personal favourite is from Bill Shankley:
"I don’t think it would have been a goal if the ball
hadn`t crossed the line"

Dear Incider,
Great site. Keep up the good work.
Just a quick letter to say how well I think Steve Phillips has
come of age this season. He without a doubt helped us to three points
yesterday against Port Vale with some typically stunning saves.
Once he improves his ability to come out for crosses we will have
the best keeper in the division, if not outside the Premiership.
I only hope we don’t have to sell him if a bid comes in.

Dear Incider,
What a strange start to the season we have had. Eleven games in
and still not a single draw to date.
It is hard to work out whether we are doing well or not, as we have
not picked up an away point in games where we should have done,
such as Brentford and Plymouth, but now with two away wins we suddenly
average a point per match on our travels.
Ideally we will grind out draws away from home against the tougher
sides as the season progresses, but as long as we continue to win
one in three of our away games, then any points in addition to that
should see us with a healthy return from these games.
Our home form is good. Hopefully QPR was a blip against a decent
side and we can return to winning ways against Chesterfield in front
of a big crowd.

Dear Incider,
I am disappointed in the lack of publicity that has been given
to the fact that the East End is open to home fans for the Chesterfield
game. I hope to see a more widespread promotion of this event as
the week progresses as, unless you are an online fan, the whole
thing will probably have passed you by.
I accept we live in the age of the computer, but the club and
the media should ensure that such messages are also getting through
to supporters who do not have internet access as they are equally
important and deserve to be informed in the same way that online
fans are.
Be it through the Evening Post or local radio, it is imperative
that the club do not lose sight of the fact that its fan-base stretches
beyond the internet, and that they ensure it does not become an
exclusive source of relevant news.
