When The Incider launched, we promised to campaign for fans on issues where we felt the club was falling short. Our Piewatch probe into the quality of catering provoked an immediate response, not only from fans but from inside Ashton Gate. The club looked in detail at our findings and announced specific action to improve things as a direct result. The campaign also got a mention on the bcfc.co.uk website news section. Our pie spies will be back later in the season to check if the service has improved. In the meantime, following Piewatch’s success, we are considering launching Creative-attacking-midfield-playmaker-watch in the hope of stirring Danny Wilson into similarly prompt action.

After just two issues, The Incider has set tongues wagging among City fans and rival supporters alike. A Dickie X imposter surfaced on the official forum - and we have had letters from Plymouth and Wycombe fans, though our inbox has curiously remained a Gas-free zone.

PIEWATCH GETS RESULTS!

Bristol City have acted on The Incider’s exclusive Piewatch probe into the quality of catering at Ashton Gate. Commercial manager Richard Gould admitted the results were “disappointing” and revealed the club would bring in some of the recommendations in our Piewatch report.
