In Issue One we offered you, the great Bristol City supporting public, the chance to win a brand new replica City shirt. Cast your mind back to those optimism-filled pre-season days, when City were fourth in the league on alphabetical order and we all hoped to complete a game with eleven players playing eleven, and you may recall we were offering to reward the best reader contributor to Issue Two with a new home or away shirt in the size of their choice. Well, we (or rather RedTop, if you’re thinking of starting a bitter hate-mail campaign) have come to a decision. Obviously this wasn’t easy, and despite Tomarse and Edson imploring RedTop to hand it to East Dundry Red on account of his fearsome size, he would not be budged. So without further ado, it gives us great pleasure to announce that the winner is…. Matt Greenslade for his winning caption competition entry. Congratulations Matt!! We’ll email you to get your address, preferred size and choice of home or away and then order it for you with Tomarse’s credit card, which we stole from his wallet at the Blackpool game. Now we are offering another exclusive prize for Issue Two. I hear you all crying: “What can it possibly be, to compete with Issue One’s replica shirt offer?” Well how does an exclusive Incider t-shirt signed by the entire Bristol City first team sound? Pretty good, hey? Yes, you too can be the envy of all your friends by sporting the very pinnacle of sartorial elegance – your own exclusive Incider t-shirt, as modelled by our three City lovelies below. There’s no guarantee yours will look as good on you, obviously, but nevertheless a prize worth winning, we’re sure you’ll agree.
The signed T-shirt will be awarded to the best reader contribution ahead of the next issue. So don't be shy - send your letters to us at letters@theincider.com and your captions, articles, cartoons, jokes and other contributions to editor@theincider.com. We also want your match reports. Not just who scored in what minute, but your view of the game – the away day adventures before and after, what you think went right or wrong in the match, who played well and who had a stinker. We’ll print the best one from each match. Issue Three hits the Internet on Monday 2 September 2002, and the deadline for contributions is midnight on Saturday 31 August 2002. The Editor's decision is final, as always, and we'll include the
winner's details in Issue Three. Get writing! |
