Dear Incider,

As a true follower of the Red Army, can someone tell me what the hell is happening….? Yes, it was time for Danny to go, with too many people getting stale. And, as a total admirer of the Tinman, what has he done to deserve being chucked in at the deep end ? Our glorious chairman has said it's promotion or the next man gets the chop, so why don't we have a recognised man now with Tinnion at his side?

Lots of clubs in our division are signing loads of players. Sheffield Wednesday are crap and they have managed, to date, to sign nine new players. There has to be a goalscorer out there somewhere, do we still have any scouts !!!?? Even the blue and white downs league outfit have managed that!!!

Please, please get the chairman to buy the last part of the jigsaw . Still, with Scotty back to full fitness at least we have a chance of scoring a few more. Having been at the gate since ‘67 , some things never change. Come on you Reds, let's stick up the rest.

Hip a posset Red

Dear Incider,

Well, after Cardiff I thought it couldn't get much worse. Okay, Danny's
selection was flawed as have been a few other issues but everyone on the
forums (BCFC and 606) seems to think that appointing Tins is a backwards
move. I would have been happy if he had someone experienced as his no 2
(Fawthrop perhaps) but am not sure about Millen, he is also unproven at the
highest level.

The main worry though, is that Steve Lansdown appears to be on a huge cost
cutting mission but instead of looking at offloading some of the average
fringe players in the squad he has got rid of Danny and Frank and
effectively saved the wages of two members of staff, because Tins and Millen are already on the payroll.

Also getting rid of the psychologist seems a backwards move and it is a real shame that we won't see Buster about the Gate....what a legend the man is and I am sure his wages were not a huge amount.

What is worrying me is that perhaps Steve Lansdown had this all planned ages ago and that he really bought Caskey in so that he could take over Buster role as the kit man, which is a dangerous move in my view.....what if, through bending over all the time to put Robbo's jock strap in the washer, he got fit...? We might have to consider playing him....nurse...more medication please I can't take any more!!!

However let's all try and make the most of the situation because we can't really change it. Hopefully Tins will go for a more attacking style of play and
subsequently Leroy and Scotty will have more games and put in the cracking
performances we know they can deliver.

Keep the red flag flying high and let's hope that the season exceeds out
expectations.
