Thank You!

On behalf of Brian Tinnion and the rest of his testimonial committee I would like to thank everyone who has supported his testimonial this year.

From the launch night in February through to the testimonial match against Portsmouth , fans have turned out in their thousands to pay tribute to this great servant of the club. Brian has been really touched by the tributes he has received from so many people who have given their time and money to help make the year such a success.

I'd also like to thank everyone at the club who have given so much of their time and energy to support us. Steve Lansdown and the board of directors, Colin Sexstone, Richard and everyone in the commercial office, everyone in the media department; The over-worked and ever-so-patient Helen and her team in the ticket office, the match day staff and stewards. Special thanks to Ed Furniss for his hard work in producing an absolutely brilliant souvenir brochure.

Very special thanks to my fellow committee members Dave Fear and Cathryn Tinnion who have worked tirelessly to make the testimonial such a success. They have been absolutely brilliant, and it's been a pleasure to work with them.

But the biggest thanks of all must go to Brian Tinnion, for being such a great footballer, loyal servant of Bristol City and truly nice bloke. With Tins at the helm, there are really exciting times ahead.
