First of all, I would like to say how delighted I am to have Scott Murray back with us at City, both as a good friend and as a player I know well and really enjoy playing with, it is a real boost to have him back at Ashton Gate.

I have been to watch Scott on several occasions during his time at Reading and I can honestly say that I was watching a player who did not look to be enjoying himself. I have had lots of conversations with Scott on a Saturday night after the game, and I could tell that he was missing being a Bristol City player, so it's great that the club could bring him home.

I have said before that the grass is not always greener on the other side and that money does not bring happiness and I think Scott, as a mate, would vouch for this.

Well done everyone concerned in bringing Scott back! He will be a very important player, not only on the pitch, but also in the buzz he will bring to the dressing room.

Obviously, the recent results have not been as good as everyone would have liked, but now I feel we as players need the supporters over the next seven games more than ever. You can play a massive part in helping us get where we all want to be next season, so please continue to believe in us, as the players believe in you.

Of the seven games that we have got left to play, we have so far won four, drawn two and lost one against these teams in our previous encounters this season. I am sure a repeat of this would give us the goal we all aim for.
