Support The Brian Tinnion Party!

Now is your chance to meet the Bristol City legend that is Brian Tinnion and pay tribute to him at a special evening for fans to mark his testimonial year.

The Tinmeister is hosting an informal buffet at the Exhibition Hall beneath the Dolman Stand on Thursday February 19 to celebrate his recent 500 th game for the club. You'll get the chance to quiz him about some of the more memorable moments from his 11 years as a Cidered and meet other City players. The bar will be open and there will be the chance to queue early outside one of the kiosks in order to get served before the end of halftime at the home game against Wrexham two days later. Actually, we made that last bit up.

However, City fan and TV star Tony Robinson – alias Baldrick in Blackadder – will also be among the special guest speakers, and his slant on all things Bristol City should make for a funny and entertaining occasion. There will also be a raffle and auction with some fantastic donated prizes, including one of the Incider's legendary El Motor T-shirts. And The Incider crew will be there too, so it's the perfect opportunity to buy us all a beer.

A Tin Man yesterday.

Tinman will also launch a special video and DVD in which he relives the highlights of his Ashton Gate career. And you will have an opportunity to buy your very own special edition Tinnion testimonial T-shirt. It'll be a fantastic evening for any City fan and all proceedings will go towards Brian's testimonial fund to thank him for his loyalty to the club we all love.

Beer, football and grub. What more could you want? All that's missing is the dancing girls, though we hear Tomarse will put on a tutu if you pay him enough.

Tickets are priced £15 each or £150 for a table of ten, including the buffet meal and entertainment (except Tomarse's tutu routine, which is extra). You can buy your ticket through the BCFC club ticket hotline on 0117 9666666 or at the ticket office. They're selling fast but there's still room, so show Tinman how grateful you are for his loyalty and service over the past decade by booking your place today.
