Dear Incider,

In a very average division where the Reds should be stuffing the opposition weekly (with the exception of perhaps Brighton, Sheffield Wednesday and QPR), we find ourselves watching the same old misdirected crap week in week out, and languishing in mid-table.

The final humiliation is here. After a drubbing at Plymouth , a totally inept performance against some North Wales shower we were outplayed and hammered – yes, hammered - by some non-descript team nicknamed The Chairboys (?!) I ask you. This is a team regularly being beaten by all-comers, except us of course.

Is it only my mate and I who can see that Danny Wilson has no footballing nous at all? There are no tactics, no inspiration, no motivation, style or ability in the squads he cobbles together. They have no respect for him and now, yes now, out there on the pitch only one or two players appear to demonstrate that they actually want to wear our shirt with pride.

This clown we have as a manager has to go NOW.

We have to get someone in who really can transform the undoubted skills our individual players possess into a force to be reckoned with. Most players have been played out of position so many times that even when they play in their true role they have forgotten what that position demands.

Forget that we have lost Scott Murray. I for one wish him all the best. We have to get on with the task at hand.

Let's get real shall we? Over the past couple of seasons Danny has been very lucky. We have just about managed to merit some respect in this division, but I for one would have feared going up as we would plummet back here immediately playing how we do.

Yes we had a trip to  Cardiff and won some silverware (against a side who have nearly made the Conference for the last two years, and this season surely will). Even making a reported £500,000 plus from the competition, we still lost £1.9m.

Now call me a cynic if you like but here are a few thoughts to ponder on:

How many of you fellow Reds want a Bristol United? Yes City and Rovers combined as one. Not me. Well, let's look at the current situation. City are apparently struggling in Division Two with an inept manager. Rovers are struggling in Division Three with an equally inept manager, and both clubs could be bankrupt inside 24 months. Have I finally lost it or is this all deliberate to force amalgamation behind the fans back? Neither sets of true supporters want it, but this is business. Bristol deserves a Premier League Club. All sports commentators and reporters proclaim this. Well a cynic might suggest both boards are working to a common goal behind our backs.

Come on you fellow Reds, let's get to grips with this now and face facts. Our club is going bankrupt. The only escape that we will accept is promotion. We have to go up to survive so we need a solid manager to deliver. Get Wilson OUT.

Richard Hatton

Dear Incider,

In theory I'm all for some stability within the club (witness the nightmare that Leeds are currently suffering), but it is apparent, watching City this year, that even with stability, all is not well.

The games so far this season have failed to excite, consisting of mainly dour affairs, with a lack of goalmouth action. This really appears to be a weak division this season and the opportunity to become firmly fixed in the top two seems to be lost.

If we average two points a game, from now until the last game of the season we will still only amass a total (82) that has seen very few teams promoted from division two.

Three years ago we finished 9th, that looks a possibility again, if stability means being a perpetual division two team, then maybe some upheaval is the answer.

If the Manager cannot motivate the players, find the right player combination or the tactics and formation, then the buck stops with him.

I wasn't convinced with 'spin doctor' Danny last season and some of his post match comments this season have left me baffled, as have the displays on the pitch.

Has he taken this club as far as he can?

It would appear that he has, he is going to have to produce a near miracle to get automatic promotion, which is the only measurable progress he can make this season.

He has had money, he has a youth set up that is the envy of many and we now seem to be sliding backwards, as his track record suggests is inevitable. Where will we be in another thre years? Nice and stable mid-table in division two.

Dear Incider,

Why are so many comments on all City sites so negative?

I have been a supporter for 30 years and can honestly say I have never heard or seen so many moans. We need committed positive fans and players, like the thousands who went to Leeds , Liverpool , Forest and more recently Leicester .

If the players aren't putting the effort in then Mr Wilson must sort them or lose his job. We must support B.C.F.C. no matter what. Galley,  Garland and Gow used to be Gods, and then it moved on right up to Jacki and Scotty. They come and go but the fans and B.C.F.C. go on FOREVER..

Dear Incider,

So we only manage a point against a side managed by a greedy, money-hungry walking heart attack. Then three days later we lose

our LDV trophy to a bunch of Muppets who have been trying to steal our song (Drink Up Thy Zider) for many a year. And I've still never seen City win against Sheffield Wednesday. The problem is that we f*** up at the WRONG times. The form we have been in all season is not great.

I hate being in this division. I'd rather be going to places like Upton Park, The Hawthorns and Brammell Lane . Instead I have to settle with Griffin Park , Saltergate and The Withdean Stadium (stadium my arse)!

I hate having to play in the LDV Vans Trophy and I hate Being put into the First Round of the F.A Cup (though I did enjoy the trip to Harrowgate Railway in the Second round last year!)

When is this club going to do something great? The LDV last year is simply NOT ENOUGH.

Still, look on the bright side. We could be Swindon . After such a good start to the season (well, good for them) they get beaten by us at the home of football, then to make it worse they are beaten by Stockport AND Boston United.

Come on City, let's have something to cheer about come May. And let's hope it's promotion!

Dear Incider,

I'm a City fan and have made my own version of "Goodnight Irene". Please check it out (song and video) and see what you think. You can download it from www.vocrecords.com.
